Happy 2nd Birthday Ava!!

Yes, my little Ava is 2 years old, and she loved having a birthday! She was singing Happy Birthday To You all day and absolutely loved getting to blow out the candles!

If you see a little bit of a white mustache on her lip, it is because she kept sneaking frosting by sticking her face in the cake :). After we sang and I started to cut the cake, she become very upset. She didn't know that she was going to have to share HER birthday cake! But she did finally let us each have a piece, but then she wanted to eat straight from the cake pan. She probably ate a couple tablespoons of frosting, but I don't think she really got any cake.

She loved her gifts especially this cat called a Fur Real cat that walks and purrs - probably the closest thing to a real cat that we will ever have, (and even the fake ones shed).

Then on Monday Aunt LeeAnn came over to swim at the community pool, eat tropical sno, and BBQ!

Thanks for a great birthday!

For my birthday this year LeeAnn took me to the Tim McGraw and Lady A. concert! It was a packed concert and the weather was perfect, great music, great company and even though the traffic was crazy and they made us throw out our sour patch watermelons I don't think the night could have been any better. We had so much fun - Thanks Lee!

My friends also spoiled me with green corn tamales and frozen yogurt - I think my favorite comb of foods ever! It was a great girls night out eating, talking and laughing. Thanks!!

Yes Jamie did have to go to boys scout camp on my birthday at 6:30am so I didn't get any pictures but I woke up to flowers, doughnuts, a date night when he got back :).

School's out Scream and Shout!

Here is Ava picking up her big sisters on the last day of school! I love how she is wearing Macie's platform flip flops, a pink hat she found, and pushing her own stroller. That binky in her mouth seems to be the only thing keeping her my baby anymore. Macie and her amazing teacher Mrs. Davis (we hope to have her again next year).

The first day of summer we celebrated by painting pottery at As You Wish.

St George

Last Thursday we packed up and met our good friends the Dorrs in St George for a long weekend away! One thing I just LoVE about Jamie is that he always finds ways to make everything fun! While we were driving, we came to this great bridge that he just had to stop at, and we all had such a fun break from being in the car. The rest of the weekend was filled with great eating out, swimming, scavenger hunts, mountain biking for the guys, shopping, movies, hiking, games, catching up, and playing putt-putt. Thanks for a great weekend!

California

We hit Knotts Berry Farm the first day, and were impressed by all the roller coasters. Doesn't it look a little empty? It was great hardly any lines and lots of fun!

The Carousel was Ava's favorite we rode it over and over!
