Presidents day at the Slopes

Zack was sick so I stayed home with him and Ava and Jamie took the girls to the slopes on their day off! They had made some changes to the ski resort since the last time we went, and what they thought was the bunny hill was a little more challening than they remembered. So on Macie's first run down (she hasn't been since she was 6), she got going a little too fast and forgot how to stop. Luckily up ahead was Georgia. She headed straight for her and grabbed on! Jamie was yelling for Georgia to fall down so they wouldn't both get hurt. So glad Macie caught Georgia and not a tree! They were laughing about the story all night. After the first run, they went down the smaller hill a few times and then worked back up to the mountain.

Who does Georgia look like in the mask?? (she is definatley her Daddy's girl!)

So much fun! (Now all they really need is a babysitting service up there so we can all go :)

All that LOVE

Happy Valentines Day!! This is the first Valentines day Jamie and I have not been together I feel terrible he couldn't be with us, but we talked on the phone and sent him with some valentines in his suit case, and can't wait until he gets back! We Love you! This year for the kids I heart attacked each of their doors and left a small treat outside their door, and when I got up they had also heart attacked me :). We made heart shaped Cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and went out to pizza for dinner, left a few treats for our neighbors, and got some delicious chocolate covered strawberries (THANK You)! I feel so lucky to have so much love for my family and friends!

He's walking!!

Zack has been taking steps for the past 2 month and we kept thinking he was going to start walking any day, but he would step and then get down and crawl again. But he turned one and now is walking all over the place! It will be great for playing outside!!

Race Sedona

This has become my tradition since we moved to AZ, and I love it! First Dad, LeeAnn, and Emily ran the half with me, then LeeAnn and I ran the 5K, and then LeeAnn and I ran the half and this year Georgia and I ran the 5K together. This was Georgia's first race and honestly she rocked!! I could barley keep up. She came in the top 10% of all those who ran the 5K running it in 28min! Who wants to join us next year?? They race a full, half, 10K and 5K. It is full of the most beautfiul red rock mountains you will love it! This was the first year we made a little family vacation of it. We stayed downtown and walked around the shops, ate our favortie BBQ, swam in the pool a couple times, and of course got our ice cream.

Zack turned 1

Yes, I cried (and I probably will with every other birthday too). But it was still a very Happy Birthday celebration! The year has been fast and full. Zack is always smiling and happy. He waves at everyone and even says Hi. We loves to throw the ball, be outside, go up and down the stairs, go for walks, play with his sisters, play with dad and mom, go to storytime, and ride the four wheelers. He brings us all so much happiness we are so glad you joined our family one year ago Happy Birthday Zack we love you!!

And loves to eat Cake too!!

37

And he never looked better! We celebrated with the kids with cake at home and dinner at Red Robin.

And went out with the Mums, Heaps and Smiths for a very cozy night of BBQ and then late night chit chat and dessert! Happy Birthday we love you!

It's that time of year again!
