Jacob and Richie Visit

On Emily's way up to Utah she stopped by the house and dropped off Jacob and Richie to stay for the week while her girls were at violin camp.  It was such a great week for everyone!  The kids all got along and played all day everyday!  We spent lots of time swimming, every night before dinner the shade would cover the cul-de-sac and the kids would go outside and play, and the favorite activity was boating!  I hope we do this again another summer! 

A visit from Grandma and Grandpa

We were so excited to have a long weekend visit from Grandma and Grandpa.  We loved hanging out at the house playing and reading, shopping, getting carmel apples, and boating.  Everyone had so much fun we cant wait to see them again soon!

Disneyland in June

After the beach, we spent 2 days at Disneyland. 

 The first day we had Georgia with us, but the next day she left and met up with her girl scout troop.  All 3 girls love big roller coasters, and it was awsome because Ava was tall enough, and brave enough, for almost all of the coasters. 

 Zack loved the rides too, and even loved the characters he saw. 

 Ava was at a perfect age for Disney.  She loves princesses AND rides it was Heaven!

 The last night after we went back to the hotel and put the younger kids to bed; I left and ran back to Disney to find Georgia and some of the night owls in her troop and go on a few rides with them. 

It was a great trip!!

Summer is here so we hit the BEACH!

This was my favorite trip to a Cali beach yet!  We found a spot close to a board rental shop and the big girls and Jamie loved hitting the waves.  Everyone jumped over the waves again and again.  Ava and Zack made some great sand castles - so much sand!!  Another highlight were these tiny crabs the girls found.  They would wait until the tide went down and then dig as fast as they could, pick up a handful of water and sand, dump it into the sandpail, and you would see all these little crabs start swimming around. 

Ava's 4th Birthday!

 Ava is 4!!  She is really growing up and loves every minute of it!  Her big present was a pink bike.  She will love going out with her sisters to ride around the cul-de-sac. 

After the family party on her birthday, we celebrated with a party at the splash pad.  We found some great shade to set up in and everyone had fun.  She invited her friends, the family and even Jacob, Richie and LeeAnn got to come. 

Ava we love the way you make everyone laugh.  That you always invite us to play with you, how brave you are, what a wonderful big and little sister you are - you make us so happy, love you!
