Bravo!

This week was the 1st Grade play, and Macie had one of the speaking parts. She was a Gnome lawn ornament, and she did amazing! I was smiling from ear to ear the whole play. (My camera was on some weird setting so sorry all the pictures are a little fuzzy.)When all the kids came out, Macie was all business looking straight at her music teacher. While Ava, was jumping in her seat and pointing so proudly at her big sister.
First garde has some serious singing and dancing talent, I loved it!

Way to go Macie!

Happy 7th Birthday Macie!!

We are so lucky to have this beauty in our family; we had a fun weekend celebrating her birthday! What a great sign - Thanks Georgia!!
Bacon, egg, and cheese, bisquit with a Fuze fruit drink IN BED was the requested breakfast this year.
We all joined her in the room.
Aunt LeeAnn drove all the way up to deliver a Strawberry Sprinkles Cupcake...so yummy!
Then 10 hours after wake up (I know this because every hour we had the count down of how many hours left until party time :) The Party girls came over.
Then we headed to the beauty shop for some manis
and Pedis!

Then came back for a couple hours of partying at the house.
Wow Macie that looks like a lot of candles. Happy Birthday we love you!!

An Easter Weekend

This was our first Easter in our house, and the Easter bunny did a good job of really hiding those baskets, but the girls worked together and they were all found as well as a ton of candy eggs. Ava LOVED all the treats - it was actually a little bit miserable for her because all she wanted to do all day was eat candy and she was crying every time she finished a piece and couldn't have another one so we had to hide all of the candy after it had already been found.
LeeAnn brought some friends over for conference, dinner, fun outside, and egg coloring.
Dinner was delcious...mom's BBQ, twice baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad and angle food cake and berry dessert.
I love that LeeAnn lives so close (thanks for those bunny ears on Eatser Macie :)

We got pretty fancy with the color mixing.
A little bit backwards, but Saturday during the sessions Jamie took us out to this little hidden river and beach he found biking. Besides the rough road to get there it was so much fun!
Sand
lounging and eating
swimming!
