Baby Shower

I feel so lucky to have such an amazing group of friends! They put together a baby shower to celebrate out little boy coming so soon. It was so much fun eating all of the delicious foods and hanging out.

They also were so generous and showered baby Zack with gifts. Ava and Grady were very helpful handing them to me since I can't really bend over anymore.
He's gonna be the cutest,
warmest,
best dressed little guy around!

I can't say thanks enough!

One of those Amazing Days

Monday was MLK day so Jamie and the girls had the day off. We woke up early and decided to take advantage of the amazing weather and go riding. It had been a while since we'd been out and the girls loved it. Jamie taught Macie how to drive the pink one and Georgia was driving the big one, and Ava wanted to ride every second.
The pond was full of water which made for some great rock throwing and very muddy shoes.
Then after we came back and had lunch and some down time, we went to the rock wall and Georgia and Macie climbed for a solid hour. It was a great day where everyone got along and we all had fun together!

Merry Christmas!

So much happened this past month that I have been overwhelmed thinking about posting, but I have so many great memories I'm going to give it a whirl starting with Christmas and going backwards.... Macie got an American girl doll from Santa this year. She carried Lanie (her doll) around the entier rest of the break - I think it was a good gift.
Georgia got a new mountain bike. She walked right past it on her way to her stocking and then jumped for joy when she realized it was for her.
Ava was so happy with all of the baby doll stuff and candy.

After the gifts, we headed to Gordy and Jenn's for our traditional big Christmas breakfast of scones, bacon and eggs.

Mom brought home so much handmade jewelry from Kosrea and let the kids pick out their favorites to keep. The girls were in heaven!
We had a Mexican fiesta for Christmas dinner, and the kids played outside with all the new toys.

This is me with all of my sisters.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent at my sister Emily's house. We ate a delicious ham dinner, and then acted out the Nativity. Ava played piggies with new newest little cousin Gunner. It was some good practice for her little brother coming soon.
We sang Christmas carols around the piano.
Then after the party we opened our Christmas Pj's and headed to bed...

Whirlyball

After a few day at the cabin and Moms and Dads homecoming at the branch, we headed back to my brother's and sister's houses. We spent a lot of time shopping and getting ready for Christmas, but saved a night for a fun game of whirlyball and pizza! Whirlyball is a game where you ride in bumper cars and hold a net that you use to catch and ball, then throw the ball, and try to hit a target. So much FUN!

The Cabin

The first day of Christmas break we packed up the car and headed to my parent's cabin. My Mom and Dad and brother Dallin all just arrived home from their missions, and it was such a fun reunion for the family to be together with them again. Uncle Gordy put together another amazing scavender hunt for the kids. Who really won the boys or the girls??
This kids spend hours outside playing!
We also read a Christmas story to help us get into the spirit of the season.

When it gets dark the games get even more fun! Football, kick the can, you name it!

Thanks for such a wonderful Christmas Break!!

Christmas Dinner

Before leaving town for the holidays we had a Christmas dinner here at the house. I had so much fun setting the table, and having some friends over.

Fall Soccer

This fall soccer season Georgia and Macie were on the same soccer team, and Jamie coached the team with Jeromy. It was so nice to have everyone playing at the same time, and they all really excelled!

Caitlin and Macie both haven't played in a few seasons, but you would have never known by the way they were out there chasing the ball!
The whole STARBURST soccer gang together.
Here are Georgia and Macie out there working the field together.
