If you see a little bit of a white mustache on her lip, it is because she kept sneaking frosting by sticking her face in the cake :). 
After we sang and I started to cut the cake, she become very upset. She didn't know that she was going to have to share HER birthday cake! But she did finally let us each have a piece, but then she wanted to eat straight from the cake pan. She probably ate a couple tablespoons of frosting, but I don't think she really got any cake.
Presents!
She loved her gifts especially this cat called a Fur Real cat that walks and purrs - probably the closest thing to a real cat that we will ever have, (and even the fake ones shed).
Then on Monday Aunt LeeAnn came over to swim at the community pool, eat tropical sno, and BBQ!

Happy Birthday AVA!!! I can't believe I forgot to tell her in person!! What a cutie she is! It does seem just like yesterday that you were carrying that little basketball around. Can't believe she's already 2! LOVE HER!
Wow! Ava is TWO?! What a doll! That is hilarious about her & her birthday cake...it looked so yummy, I don't know if I would want to share either. :)
