An Easter Weekend

This was our first Easter in our house, and the Easter bunny did a good job of really hiding those baskets, but the girls worked together and they were all found as well as a ton of candy eggs. Ava LOVED all the treats - it was actually a little bit miserable for her because all she wanted to do all day was eat candy and she was crying every time she finished a piece and couldn't have another one so we had to hide all of the candy after it had already been found.

LeeAnn brought some friends over for conference, dinner, fun outside, and egg coloring.

Dinner was delcious...mom's BBQ, twice baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, salad and angle food cake and berry dessert.

I love that LeeAnn lives so close (thanks for those bunny ears on Eatser Macie :)

We got pretty fancy with the color mixing.

A little bit backwards, but Saturday during the sessions Jamie took us out to this little hidden river and beach he found biking. Besides the rough road to get there it was so much fun!

Daisys and The Stables

It has been so much fun this year to be Macie's Daisy girls scout troop leader. We have a great troop of just the greatest girls. Friday night we took the girls out to Jenn's horse stable, and let the girls get their horse patch. All the girls were in Heaven and of course they all left begging for their own horse! This is Jenn's horse, Chester, who loves to eat peppermints :).

They all got a ride in the cart from the miniture horse.

The highlight was their very own ride on a real horse.

And we all loved seeing the new baby foal and it's mother.

Spring Break

We had such a great time and made so many great memories we can't wait to go back again!!

Sledding

We have been up North to play in the snow a couple of times this winter already, but still hadn't been sledding, and LeeAnn hadn't seen snow in over a year so we headed up and had so much fun! The snow was packed tight so we padded the sled with a coat and went flying down the hill.

Ava loved it; her first time down she laughed the whole way.

My new find at the zoo!

I have been to the zoo here a bunch of times however somehow I have missed the childrens play area and petting zoo! In Texas we would always go and spend the whole day at the kids area, and I loved it so glad to find it here!!Ava loved brushing the goats; I couldn't believe how mellow the goats were.

Thanks for the ring pops Luke...it's not a fun outting without a lollipop!

Rag Nar

Way to go LeeAnn! Way to go Christine!! 204 miles, 12 friends, 2 vans, racing together. Georgia, Macie, Ava and I had to go and cheer! It was so fun to go and watch LeeAnn and Christine run. Their group was the most favorite of everyone. They were named Fast Food and they all ran at least one of their legs in a food costume. They would stop and cheer all the other teams on with side of the road dance parties and tunnels to run through. They did awsome!
