Ever since we moved into our house my family room has been ALL brown - walls, carpet, tile, couch, clock on the wall, toy hutch everything, and I have kept saying I really want to add color...well I finally did it! The curtains were the key. I saw them in a catalog and loved them; then I felt like I could finish the room.

Thanks to some helpful advice I spray painted the brown hutch and turned it green.
Replaced the brown clock with a painting

Replaced the brown, dark green, and dark red plants in the vase with some bright flowers
And it's done!
