I decided to be brave and take the girls to get their pictures taken. I even talked them into wearing clothes that match their room (where the pictures will hang), and letting me curl their hair. It was worth the effort - they look so pretty.

Ava's favorite thing right now is the bath tub. She kicks and smiles, and then when the water splashes her face she gasps in shock, and then starts kicking again.

The past two weekends I have gone to some garage sales looking for baby things, and got some great deals!! I got this awesome Phil and Teds stroller (I have wanted one forever, but never wanted to spend the money :)!!!, with the double attachment (not shown though), and some great toys for Ava. The girls love to come too - I give them a couple dollars and they can get some pretty good stuff.
While Jamie was out working on his bike this weekend, he found this scorpion - it was huge!

Your girls look beautiful. How long was the clothes struggle. Zoey never wants to wear what I make for her or try to get her to wear because she doesn't match. SCARY scorpion. No matter how many you see it is always creepy to turn around and find them right where you were just looking. YUCKY!!!!
The girls are beautiful!! You are brave taking them all out to do pictures. I jsut can't bring myself to do that, but we are going to have to suck it up soon cuz we need a new family photo. Scorpions, the one thing I don't miss about AZ. I do,however, miss you and your family. See you this week!!!
That scorpion belongs in the zoo or something - I swear, it's the craziest one I've ever seen!

I LOVE THE PICTURES!!!!!!!! You have the most beautiful girls!!! Are they wearing Naartjie?? I'm probably way off, but it looks like it!! :) And OH MY GOODNESS that is a crazy picture of a Scorpion!!!!!!! It scares me just looking at it!!!!!! BTW-LOVE THE STROLLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Seeing those cute pictures sends great memories through my mind. I am so glad that I got to spend time with you and your cute family. Give those beautiful girls a big hug from Grandma and stay away from the scorpians!

The pictures of the girls turned out great- they are so adorable! I should go garage-saling with you...I know there are good deals out there, I'm just always too impatient to look for them!
