The fruits of the garden!
We have been so excited about our garden, but unfortunately the birds have been too. So Macie and I got the extra chicken coop fencing, that we used around the garden to keep the bunnies out, and tied it around the top of the tomatoes. And finally we got to eat our first red ripe tomatoe - It was delicious!

Macie's Baptism
I am so proud of my Macie! She is really growing up and making good choices. This weekend we had her baptism. I can feel her testimony and know she made the right choice to get baptized. We felt so much love on this special occasion from our family and friends.
I know she will always remember this day and the wonderful spirit that was there. I love you Macie!

Happy BIrthday Macie!!
Eight is a big one! And we have had lots of celebrating already and still have more to come...
We started off with the traditional streamers on her bedroom door, Happy Birthday signs and her favorite breakfast which this year was bacon egg and cheese bisquits and pigs in a blanket.
Angel food cake with berries and cream was the chosen dessert - a family favorite.

Macie's birthday was on a Sunday this year which meant she had to wait an extra day to get her ears pierced. Macie has Always wanted pierced ears, and in our house you have to wait until you turn 8. When she used to go to the rec center in TX, when she was about 3 yrs old, she would follow all the girls that had ear rings around and long for them herself. Now it is her turn!
Georgia held her hand and reassured her it didn't hurt - that much, but Macie would definately disagree. She said it hurt A LOT, but it was still worth it!
