The first day of Spring Break

and our garden is blooming! The strawberry is turning red, this is the first day the seeds have sprouted above the soil,

and the tomatoe plants are definately bigger!! I am so excited that the plants are growing and the rabbits are staying out - thanks Dad!!
Zack is also starting to smile :). We tried to catch his smile on camera, but that will have to come later. Emily I love his crabby outfit!
The big girls also had friends over to play all day (while I did some spring cleaning). They are reading this book that talks about recipes so they wanted to make one. It was full of ice cream and all kinds of toppings layered in a cup so delicious!

I can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

Zack's Blessing Day

It was a wonderful day blessing Zack and having so much of our family with us.

Jamie's mom and dad.
Dallin, LeeAnn, and my mom and dad

Thanks you so much for coming out to visit it is a day I will always remember.

Mom and Dad come to visit

LeeAnn was on spring break and the baby blessing was coming so Mom and Dad spoiled us with a visit. We had such a great week with them. Dad took on a huge project, and made me a garden. It was so much more work than I had thought, ,mostly because Dad goes all out and not only planted a garden, but fixed up a sprinkler system, and made a fence to keep out the rabbits. I love it and can't wait for out vegis!
Jamie took out the 4 wheelers for a little riding.
We went to the big park and played and rode the train.

We had such a great visit thanks soo much for coming!!

Zack James is here!

It really is a boy! And he really is a JOY. He was born on 2, 2, 2011. This has been an amazing week. Our family has had a great experience having Zack join our family. He is a little peacemaker. He is still and quite and lets everyone hold him. He was born at 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. He has reddish brown hair and dark eyes. We can't decide who he looks like, but I like to think Jamie. And he is as soft as he looks in this picture. Just born and all went well.

We didn't think the girls were going to be able to come to the hospital to visit because February is RSV season, but when I aksed the nurse she told me to let them come so I quickly called Lee and they all came up. It was a huge treat! And here we are our first family picture as a family of 6! The big girls couldn't get enough holding time, but Ava was too occupied with all the treats and kind of over looked the little guy.
LeeAnn took the girls so Jamie could stay with me and Zack the first night. They love being with her - thanks Lee!I can't say "my girls" so much anymore, but here are my girls and my Zack.

Ava was the only girl who got to come and pick us up from the hospital, and she fell in love with Zack.
We put this adorable little brother outfit on him to take him home in and he would not cooperate for pictures...maybe he's not so excited to be the little brother? With these great big sisters I'm sure he'll change his mind quick though.
This little piggy...

I went into labor early Wed morning so we left the girls alone for a few hours and they made this awsome welcome home sign for us all by themselves!

Grandma Foote came to visit on Sunday and has been spoiling us all week. Its been so nice to have her here to take care of all of us.
My guys!

And this is Zack today. He is 8 days old. He went to the Dr yesterday and was 7lbs 4 oz and 21 1/2 inches long (they might have measured his length a little wrong at the hospital?). He's my little angel. I feel so blessed for this healthy happy bouncing baby boy!
