Sledding

We have been up North to play in the snow a couple of times this winter already, but still hadn't been sledding, and LeeAnn hadn't seen snow in over a year so we headed up and had so much fun! The snow was packed tight so we padded the sled with a coat and went flying down the hill.

Ava loved it; her first time down she laughed the whole way.

My new find at the zoo!

I have been to the zoo here a bunch of times however somehow I have missed the childrens play area and petting zoo! In Texas we would always go and spend the whole day at the kids area, and I loved it so glad to find it here!!Ava loved brushing the goats; I couldn't believe how mellow the goats were.

Thanks for the ring pops Luke...it's not a fun outting without a lollipop!

Rag Nar

Way to go LeeAnn! Way to go Christine!! 204 miles, 12 friends, 2 vans, racing together. Georgia, Macie, Ava and I had to go and cheer! It was so fun to go and watch LeeAnn and Christine run. Their group was the most favorite of everyone. They were named Fast Food and they all ran at least one of their legs in a food costume. They would stop and cheer all the other teams on with side of the road dance parties and tunnels to run through. They did awsome!

We hit the slopes again!

Last month when we took the kids up to ski, I missed out on the skiing because I was taking care of Ava. So this time we left the kids and headed up just the two of us. It was an awsome day - no lines and great weather! I'm not really a skiier, but I got some great practice in and had fun. Jamie even stayed with me most of the day, but had to go off by himself a bit and enjoy the bigger hills and jumps.

My Favorite Race!

This is probably my favorite race because LeeAnn runs with me. It is tradition now - our third year and I'm already looking forward to next. This race is the hardest I've run seriously there is no flat ground you are running up or down, but it is also the most beautiful too. There is something about pushing yourself and being with family and in such an awsome place that makes it almost spiritual. Whose joining us next year?!The best cheer team!Christine and some other friends joined us this year which made it all the more fun! (we have matching shirts, but we are layered).

And we finished...3 min faster than the last time!!

Danny came down and raced again too he did awsome coming in first in his division and beating the next guy by 4 min!! Then he and Jamie took off for some great mountain biking!

The country He and Me Dance

I wish I coule be a fly on the wall at one of these fun Daddy Daughter dances. I hear Jamie and the girls really get down. Ava and I stayed home and did mani and pedis. She loved it (sorry no pictures). She sat so still and even let me put flowers on her toes and blow dry them.
