The country He and Me Dance

I wish I coule be a fly on the wall at one of these fun Daddy Daughter dances. I hear Jamie and the girls really get down. Ava and I stayed home and did mani and pedis. She loved it (sorry no pictures). She sat so still and even let me put flowers on her toes and blow dry them.

Let's skip school and go skiing!!

You ski for free on your birthday, so after school on Monday we packed up and drove north. We took Jamie to an early birthday dinner and stayed in a fun hotel that night. Then Tuesday morning we drove to the ski lodge. Georgia has been a few times, and this was Macie's first. We had a blast!

The ski lift was almost as fun as the skiing.

Macie went down the mountain 4 times with Jamie, and was so proud.

Georgia just took off, I was so surprised. She was soon off the bunny hill and off to bigger and better with Dad.

Ava was nice and warm thanks to Amber and Brielle for the snow clothes.

Definately a new tradition!

Hole in The Rock

It was one of those great unplanned Saturdays. Jamie's YM/YW sledding trip got cancelled so we first decided to head to McDonald's for breakfast. So fun even with the whole thing of syrup spilling on my jeans. Next was a run for me and a bike ride for Jamie and the girls. Then it was noon and we decided to head to the zoo. When we drove in, we noticed some people up on this big rock/small mountain that had a cool whole through the top so we took a little detour. These girls LOvE hiking!! Very cool next time you head to the zoo it is a fun adventure. Georgia didn't want to leave, but we had limited time so we headed to the zoo for a bit. Then to top off the day for dinner Paige introduced me to another restaurant that has delicious green corn tamales - my absolute favorite Mexican dish that I thought was only sold at Manuels, very yummy.

Ava is changing and growing so fast we can hardly keep up. She is saying all kinds of words now and wants to do everything her big sisters do. She can now climb up on the stool at the counter all by herself, and insists on eating there with the big girls.
