Georgia's Invention

Georgia is studying inventors in school and had to come up with an invention of her own. She made "An Extra Hand". She just pushes a button on the remote and the hand does all of her chores. Coming soon to a store near you!!

Kindergarten 2009

Macie was in the end of the year Kindergarten 2009 recital. She sang lots of great songs and even got to get on stage the last song and do the can-can; how did they know that is our 'Good-Bye'dance? Macie has had a wonderful year in Kindergarten. She loves it, and has really grown up. Way to go Macie!!

Spring Time

While we have been working hard the past two months on getting our new house finished and moving in, we have had some fun times in between here are the highlights...

Easter was so much fun dressing the girls up in their matching dresses!

Sweet Ava. She had to wake from her nap to get ready for church so she wasn't her usual all smiles self, but very pretty non the less.

This is Ava's first time in a swing. It was great she kept laughing, and just loved it!

Happy 6th Birthday Macie!! Macie invited some friends from school and we went to Peter Piper to celebrate. She chose doughnuts this year instead of cupcakes, which made this the easiest Birthday Bash so far. I just booked the party, bought the doughnuts and showed up!

Georgia and few of her girl friends from school danced in the school talent show. They did such an awsome job and had so much fun!!

For Spring Break we went to visit Grandmom and Granddad and Aunt Lara, Uncle Trevor , Connor and McCord. We had a great time playing outside in the forest and swimming in the lake. We can't wait to go back again.

Be MIne

For Valentines this year our nieghbor Kim and her girls brought over the cutest heart pancake mold and pink raspberry hot cocoa, thanks so much Kim we loved them! So Valentines morning, Jamie made us these great heart pancakes and cocoa. We also spoiled each other with goodies from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, valentine cards and flowers. What a great holiday!

If we didn't already have enough sweets already :), the girls had some friends over to play games and make more delicious brownie cupcakes.

The Red Rocks

Two weekends in a row Jamie and I headed to the Red Rocks of Sedona. The first weekend just the two of us went for Jamie's birthday. LeeAnn stayed over night with the girls - Thanks again Lee! We went up so Jamie could teach me how to mountain bike. I'm not really that great, I had to stop and walk my bike a bit and fell, but it was sooo much FUN! We spent a few hours out there on the trails, and I loved it. I can't wait to go again!!

The next weekend we took the girls with us; LeeAnn and the Dorrs came too. LeeAnn, Danny and I all ran in the Sedona 5K, Jamie and Julee were so great to let us run while they watched all those cute little girls. The course is full of hills, but it is beautiful!

It is so fun to have Lee close by to run with. It was my first race since I got pregnant with Ava, thanks Lee for the motivation.

After the run, we checked out the shops and did a little hiking.

School Spotlights

Two kids from each grade get picked for good character, and rewarded with a ride in a hummer limo to eat lunch at Chick-fil-A. Georgia was one of the second graders that got picked. Do rewards get any better?!! Way to go Georgia - we are so proud of you!

Macie was picked as student of the week in Kindergarten. She made this great poster and got up in front of the class and told all about herself. I really wanted to go and listen, but she said that no other moms go so I wasn't allowed, but she did let me take a picture.
